Pre-procedure care
Follow these guidelines to arrive in the best possible condition and ensure optimal results.

Stop medications that affect clotting 2 weeks before surgery.

Avoid alcohol and tobacco for at least 3 weeks prior.

Inform your surgeon of any allergies or respiratory conditions.

Complete any requested imaging studies (frontal, profile, and 3/4 view photos).

Fast for 8 hours (solids) before surgery.

Arrive without makeup or creams on the nasal area on the day of your procedure.
Recovery
Post-procedure care
Guided recovery is an essential part of achieving natural, lasting results.

Keep your head elevated at 30–45° for the first 7 days.

Apply cold compresses wrapped in cloth around the eyes (never directly on the nose).

Do not blow your nose or sneeze with your mouth closed for 3 weeks.

Wear the nasal splint or cast as directed (7–14 days).

Avoid glasses that rest on the bridge of your nose for at least 6 weeks.

Protect your nose from sun exposure for 6 months.

Wait 3 weeks before resuming moderate physical activity.
