Pre-procedure care

Follow these guidelines to arrive in the best possible condition and ensure optimal results.

  • Obtain a recent mammogram or breast ultrasound as indicated by your surgeon.

  • Discontinue anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin, and supplements 2 weeks before.

  • Stop smoking at least 4 weeks prior to promote healing.

  • Avoid alcohol 48 hours before your procedure.

  • Fast for 8 hours (solids) before surgery.

  • Bring a front-opening sports bra on the day of your procedure.

  • Arrange for someone to accompany you home.

Post-procedure care

Guided recovery is an essential part of achieving natural, lasting results.

  • Wear the surgical bra 24 hours a day for the first 6 weeks.

  • Sleep in a semi-reclined position for the first 5–7 days.

  • Avoid raising your arms above your shoulders for 2 weeks.

  • Do not exercise the pectoral muscles or engage in intense physical activity for 6 weeks.

  • Attend your suture removal appointment as scheduled (7–10 days).

  • Apply the prescribed scar treatment according to your protocol.

  • Protect scars from sun exposure for 12 months.
