Obtain a recent mammogram or breast ultrasound as indicated by your surgeon.

Discontinue anti-inflammatory drugs, aspirin, and supplements 2 weeks before.

Stop smoking at least 4 weeks prior to promote healing.

Avoid alcohol 48 hours before your procedure.

Fast for 8 hours (solids) before surgery.

Bring a front-opening sports bra on the day of your procedure.

Recovery
Post-procedure care

Sleep in a semi-reclined position for the first 5–7 days.

Avoid raising your arms above your shoulders for 2 weeks.
